“With poetry, I find myself learning to be a listener, interpreter, facilitator and collaborator. I walk a lot, which helps me to notice nature and how places often hold stories of injustice. I find hope in the way that poetry and the arts can open up new ways of thinking, reveal complex truths and pierce distance, time and differences between people.”
